Ramesh Peramsetty , MD is a board certified family practitioner. He finished his residency in Family Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.

He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and a member of various societies including: American College of Phlebology, American Society of Laser Medicine & Surgery, American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and American Society of Bariatric Physicians (ASBP).

He is the Founding Medical Director of Alabama Family Medical Center, Crimson Urgent Care, Tuscaloosa MedSpa and Tuscaloosa Weightloss Center. He has been living and practicing medicine in Tuscaloosa since 1998.
